Before And After Pics: Avon Skin Care I Personally Use

Today I want to share my before and after pictures using some Avon skin care products. I completely believe that in order to sell Avon, I need to use their products! Otherwise, how else would I possibly know how GREAT Avon truly is? Well, you are about to find out. And please keep in mind, I have super sensitive skin. Before using Avon, I could only use Oil of Olay and only ONE product for my skin. And I didn't see much results from that. I couldn't even use a cleanser on my face. With Avon, I not only repaired my skin (yes I said repaired. Strictly only on me. I have no clue how it works on anyone else. That is the only word I can think of to use.) I started off with the Power Serum and Anew Ultimate Day and Night Creams. Read my post about these here . Also I began using Avon's new line Anew Clean (coming out in campaign 15) and the new cleansing brush (you will love these I promise!!!)

This is Day Zero before I began using Anew Clinical Line Eraser with Retinol and Anew Eye Lift Pro Dual in the morning and Vitamin C serum and Anew Ultimate Night Moisturizing Cream at night.

This is day eight! I made sure to take these pictures in the same light so you can see the real changes.

Now these next two pictures are before and after using the Smooth Minerals. The first one was taken day seven into the skin care ritual and all I am wearing for makeup is eyeliner. The second picture is on day eight and I added Smooth Minerals powder foundation and no other makeup at all.

I am being told these are amazing results and I will have to agree! And the best part? NO reactions whatsoever. NO breakouts!! I can finally take care of my skin as I've always wanted to!!

When To Toss The Beauty Products Away

Have you ever stopped to think how long those lipstick tubes or mascara have been sitting in your makeup draw? You may not think about it. But you should. Old makeup can harbor bacteria and/or fungus. And of course, there is the matter of the makeup components breaking down. If you apply these to your face and lips, you can cause some serious infections and skin irritation. So, I have listed below how long you can keep your makeup before giving it the old heave ho into the garbage can.

Mascara: 3 months

Self Tanners: 6 months to a year

Lip Gloss: 1 year

Lipstick: 1 1/2 to 2 years

Eye and lip pencils: 2 years

Foundation and concealer: up to 2 years

Lotions: 2 years

Sun protection: 2 years

Blush: 3 years

Deodorant: 3 years

Eyeshadow: 3 years

Moisturizers: 3 years

Nail Polish: 6 months to 4 years

Fragrance: 1 to 4 years

This should give you a good rule of thumb on when to toss that old makeup out. And keep this is mind: If you can't remember when you bought or received it, just toss it!
